Why was Booster Club Was Formed?

The Springville Track and Field Booster Club was created to provide much-needed support for both the track and field and cross-country programs. We are a nonprofit organization aimed at enhancing the experience and opportunities for our student-athletes.

What is your mission?

The mission of the Springville High School Track and Cross Country Booster Club is to provide resources that bridge the gap between school funding and team needs, promote health, wellness, and athletic achievement for all students, and foster a strong, inclusive community that celebrates and supports the success of our student-athletes.

Who do you work with at the school?

  • Partnering with Coach Watson, head of the track & field program, to identify immediate and long-term needs.
  • Partnering with Coach Ford, head of the cross-country team, to support our distance athletes.
  • Working with school clubs such as art, journalism, and yearbook to involve students in our efforts.

What are yOur Goals and Needs?

Immediate priorities (Needs List):

  • Essential items such as new javelins, discus discs, and a high jump pit.
  • Storage solutions, including a shed for equipment.
  • Upgraded facilities like a weighted long jump cover and a discus cage

Long-term goals (Dreams List):

  •   A dedicated cross-country race course.
  •   Facility upgrades to support better training and competition environments.

How We Plan to Achieve These Goals?

  • Seeking donations from parents, community members, and local businesses.
  • Organizing creative fundraising events and pursuing sponsorship opportunities.
  • Developing a Meet Day Program featuring athlete bios, personal records, and sponsor ads.
  • Encouraging community involvement:
  • Demonstrating how every contribution directly benefits our athletes.
  • Building a shared sense of pride in supporting our young athletes’ health, discipline, and teamwork.
