Martin Luther King Indoor Track Classic Results

On January 20, 2025, the Springville High School track and field team showcased their talents at the Martin Luther King Indoor Track Classic at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.

Girls’ Events:

  • 60 Meter Dash:
    • Alexius Mostella clocked a season-best time of 8.44 seconds, securing 34th place.
    • Rebecca Sierra finished in 8.64 seconds, placing 42nd.
    • Cierra Dodge achieved a season-best of 9.34 seconds, landing in 79th place.
  • 400 Meter Dash:
    • Rebecca Sierra recorded a season-best time of 1:02.76, finishing 17th.
    • Trinity Bentley completed the race in 1:11.87, placing 70th.
    • Cierra Dodge achieved a time of 1:20.87, securing 94th place.
  • 800 Meter Run:
    • Carmen McMaster posted a season-best time of 2:36.57, finishing 26th.
    • Felicity Bentley was close behind with a season-best of 2:36.60, placing 27th.
    • Trinity Bentley completed the race in 2:59.88, securing 66th place.
  • 1600 Meter Run:
    • Carmen McMaster finished in 5:46.45, earning 17th place.
    • Felicity Bentley achieved a season-best of 5:52.55, placing 23rd.
    • Elisabeth Hoffman recorded a season-best time of 6:14.48, finishing 30th.
  • 60 Meter Hurdles:
    • Alexius Mostella secured 11th place with a time of 10.15 seconds.

Boys’ Events:

  • 60 Meter Dash:
    • Charles Sanford achieved a season-best time of 7.61 seconds, placing 55th.
    • Blake Davis finished in 7.88 seconds, securing 80th place.
  • 400 Meter Dash:
    • Tate Milstead recorded a time of 54.25 seconds, finishing 24th.
    • Evan Green completed the race in 58.29 seconds, placing 64th.
  • 800 Meter Run:
    • Tate Milstead posted a season-best time of 2:07.75, earning 15th place.
    • Brayden Chandler followed with a season-best of 2:08.99, securing 19th place.
    • Van Stewart finished in 2:20.32, placing 52nd.
  • 1600 Meter Run:
    • Brayden Chandler achieved a season-best time of 4:44.54, finishing 13th.
    • Brayden Marlow recorded a season-best of 4:56.65, securing 23rd place.
    • Logan Stuman completed the race in a season-best time of 5:06.95, placing 33rd.
  • 3200 Meter Run:
    • Brayden Marlow finished in 11:01.10, earning 19th place.
  • 60 Meter Hurdles:
    • Kelsey Burge recorded a time of 12.25 seconds, placing 37th.
  • 4×200 Meter Relay:
    • The relay team achieved a season-best time of 1:40.83, finishing 29th.
  • 4×400 Meter Relay:
    • The team completed the race in a season-best time of 3:55.36, securing 16th place.
  • 4×800 Meter Relay:
    • The relay team finished in 9:30.80, earning 13th place.
  • Shot Put:
    • Ryan Freeman achieved a mark of 34-11.25, placing 33rd.
    • Miles Sparks recorded a throw of 29-11.25, securing 47th place.
